Extra Heavy Duty Camera

CH-EHDSS.62 uses a body machined from stainless steel billet rather than the usual cast alloy and is complete with a heavy stainless steel mounting bracket designed to be used where standard cameras are just not good enough to last.
Laboratory tested to protection rating of IP69K this camera is not only extremely mechanically durable but also sealed against ingress of external contaminants.

Fitted with a high end, Sony Starvis IMX662 sensor this camera also has the best image available in standard truck cameras with excellent low light vision and WDR for bright – dark situations making this the first choice for industrial applications where 24 hour operations with bright lighting.

These cameras have a standard lens which provides 120 degree (diag.) view angle and are mirror image. If using with an MDVR the image should be flipped in the MDVR settings to capture the real image.

Note that no Infra-Red LEDs are fitted as the sensor works very well in even near dark conditions. If a camera with IR LED illumination is required, this can be provided for projects where larger quantities are required but is not a standard stock item.

Standard 4 pin female connector suits all Chipatronic extension cables and installation accessories and we recommend using the Nylon Braided extension cables for increased durability.
