7″ HDMI Monitor

Chipatronic MDVR systems have HDMI output to allow high quality video display on suitable monitors and we stock a selection of HDMI input devices suitable for use in trucks, buses and all commercial vehicles.

The CH-ST72HDMI is a standard dash mount monitor with a 7″ LCD and HDMI input plus 2 standard definition AV inputs which can be used for a reversing camera or such if required but is mainly used for HDMI video only.

As with all Chipatronic dash monitors, this is suitable for 12/24V operation and is supplied with a standard “U” bracket for mounting but any of the optional, slide-in type monitor brackets can be used with this.

Chipatronic MDVRs can be easily setup to display selected camera feeds and then switch between different cameras to show the driver different views depending on what operations are being taken at the time. For instance a common requirement will be for the rear camera to be displayed continually but when the indicators are used the camera display switches over to the left side or right side cameras or a combination of side plus rear.
Several switch selections can be setup to cater for most common requirements but this will normally be configured by our team prior to shipping an MDVR system and so this should be discussed with us in advance.

If a larger size screen is preferred, the CH-ST10HDMI has a 10.1″ LCD and where multiple cameras are being displayed together, this may be a better choice but does take up more space so is only suitable for larger vehicles.

For smaller vehicles, such as utilities and small trucks, the CH-RVM72HDMI is a bolt-in, mirror replacement which can be easily used for constant rear-vision.

Where a monitor is required for installation and maintenance purposes it is far better to use a handheld test tool and the CH-CT5HD is the required device as this is battery powered for field use.
