A 4 pin gender changer is used where an extension cable has been reversed or there is some other problem with either the camera or monitor connection or cables used so if you have a female 4 pin connection and require a male, the CH-4PM2M is used. If you have a male 4 pin connection and require a female, theCH-4PF2F is used.
The 4 pin gender changer is a useful adaptor for professional installers to carry as a spare part or to use as an emergency fix and can save a lot of time if the alternative is to remove the cable and then replace it with the connections reversed.
A 4 pin gender changer can also be used with other adaptors to allow connection of other fittings or devices where alternative parts are not readily available.
