Camera Extension Cables with Nylon Braid Sheath

Camera Extension Cables  are used to connect the camera to a host device, either a monitor for live video streaming or an MDVR for video recording and most extension cables are made using standard duty plastic outer sheathing.

For installations where additional protection against abrasion and mild damage is required Chipatronic have introduced a selected range of cables with an integrated braided nylon sheath, fully molded into the connectors.

The same as all extension cables from Chipatronic, these are are all 4 core with industry standard 12mm connectors, commonly referred to as “aviation connectors” which have a screw up locking system and have a male end and female end to suit the standard layout of vehicle cameras, monitors and MDVR connections and use a standard pin layout as shown below.

While our standard camera extension cables are available in a wide range of lengths to suit the common jobs, the nylon sheathed cables are only stocked in three sizes although multiple cables can be joined or these can be matched with standard extension cables if required.

Please note that the braided sheath is not meant for heat resistance and will be damaged by exposure to hot parts and while these are intended as a heavier duty cable, these will still be damaged by over-stretching, pinching and other forms of mechanical stress.
