10.1″ Quad Monitor
The CH-STQAHD10 Quad Monitor is an industrial/commercial monitor used where multiple cameras need to be displayed on a single screen, whether all at once or in various combinations.
Quad monitors have 4 camera inputs which automatically detect the camera type and display the images in either a multi-window format or as an individual, full-screen image.
All these monitors use high resolution LCD panels for improved display quality with excellent colour rendition when used with AHD cameras.
Using standard definition CVBS cameras may result in lower quality images due to the lower resolution of CVBS devices.
Chipatronic Quad monitors are available with this 10.1” LCD or in a smaller size with 7″ LCD and share common specifications and functions with no differences apart from the size.
All Chipatronic AHD series monitors can work with both standard CVBS cameras or AHD cameras but will always provide the best image quality with AHD as the cameras have much higher resolution and these monitors can display both 720P and 1080P HD cameras allowing the use of the highest specification cameras to be used.

The default view is with 4 cameras shown in 4 same-size windows which is the Quad view but by using the Mode button on the front panel a user can select any one of the twelve available views which then becomes the default when the monitor is powered on.
To change the view the recommend method is to use the trigger inputs to show either a single camera in full-screen or a combination of cameras in a multi-view screen.
Triggers are just switched circuits so existing switching is commonly used such as the indicators for Right and Left side views and the reverse light circuit for a Rear/Reverse view and where required, separate switches can be added to be used.
For instance, connect triggers 1 & 2 together and apply power (usually via a switch) and cameras 1 & 2 will be shown together. Remove the power from the trigger and the screen will return to the set display.
Any combination can be made so one, two or three cameras can be shown together when required.
