CH-AHD4HD-WDR is a high resolution vehicle camera with Sony IMX290 Starvis image sensor providing 1080P video with WDR image enhancement and is the same externally as the basic CH-AHD4HD model camera.
This model has a high end image sensor with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) which provides improved images and recorded video especially where a combination of darker areas and strong lights are present in the camera’s field of view. This feature is strongly recommended for use where the system is to be used in dark situations with bright lighting, for instance underground mining or prolonged nighttime driving.

In keeping with the intended use for these cameras a 3.6mm lens is standard for general purpose viewing while still giving good viewing for more distant objects thanks to the high resolution sensor. Narrow angle versions are possible should there be a requirement.

This high resolution vehicle camera camera is predominantly used in conjunction with a Chipatronic Analogue DVR system which will automatically detect the camera type & resolution for the best quality recording. If this is to be used with a monitor for viewing only application, only AHD capable displays can be used and we recommend a larger screen size to take advantage of the high resolution signal from this camera.
