Surface mount camera for caravan or motorhome use.

Chipatronic Hybrid Cameras are the latest and most up to date vehicle cameras available currently with features never before seen in the automotive industry.

Hybrid cameras combine traditional composite video (CVBS) with new Analogue High Definition video (AHD) with the ability to change between these two modes by menu programming.
Not only can the camera be changed between video output modes but can also be changed between PAL and NTSC formats to suit the requirements of each individual installation.

Model CH-HPC1WD is a dome camera for surface mounting and is mainly used on caravans and motorhomes where  the cable is directly behind the camera and will be covered by the camera housing.
This provides a clean finish with no exposed cables and the white housing suits many popular vans.

If the surface mount style is not suitable, please see either the CH-HPC1MB or CH-HPC1HB box style cameras with bracket and black housing.

To use the camera in AHD mode a suitable, AHD compatible monitor will be required. 
Please see either CH-RVMAHD7 which clips over the rear-view mirror or the CH-STDAHD7 which mounts on the dash.
Hybrid cameras can be integrated with in-dash displays but only in CVBS mode, usually with NTSC format.
Factory screen integration is possible but generally only with the addition of additional, specialised hardware. Contact us for further information if factory screen integration is desired.

CH-HPC1MB

Smaller, mid-size camera for general purpose use on caravans, trucks, utilities etc.

Model CH-HPC1MB is a mid-size, box style camera suitable for use in a wide range of automotive applications including:

• caravan rear-view and reversing camera
• motorhome rear-view and reversing camera
• truck and bus reversing camera
• truck blind-spot camera
• tray back utility reversing camera
• 4WD front clearance camera
• construction and agricultural machinery, forward and rear vision systems

The CH-HPC1MB  is just 56mm wide, 42mm high and 55mm deep (excluding the bracket) but has all of the same features as the entire range of hybrid cameras in a compact housing with standard 4 Pin female connector.

If a larger, more heavy duty camera is required, please use the CH-HPC1HB heavy duty camera.
For caravans and motorhomes the dome camera amy be used as this is surface mounting, model CH-HPC1WD

CH-HPC1HB

Full size, heavy duty camera with good night vision suitable for trucks and machinery.

Model CH-HPC1HB is a heavy duty, box style camera suitable for use in a wide range of automotive applications including:

• DVR camera for video recording on heavy vehicles
• truck and bus reversing camera
• truck blind-spot camera
• construction and agricultural machinery, forward and rear vision system
• caravan rear-view and reversing camera
• motorhome rear-view and reversing camera

The CH-HPC1HB  is 76mm wide 53mm high and 70mm deep with all of the same features as the entire range of hybrid cameras in a full size, heavy duty housing with standard 4 Pin female connector. 18 IR LEDs provide night vision up to 15m.
If a smaller camera in a similar style is preferred please use the CH-HPC1MB.

Model CH-HPC2BB is a unique design, dual camera for use on caravans and motorhomes to provide a wide angle, reversing camera to see directly behind and a narrower angle, rear-vision camera for constant use while driving. The rear-vision camera provides an image better suited to normal driving and with AHD video will allow clearer and sharper images from the back of the van when used with one of our high resolution, Hybrid monitors.

The CH-HPC2DB  is 125mm wide and 81mm deep with all of the same features as the entire range of hybrid cameras with two standard 4 Pin female connector and a custom made 2:1 adaptor to allow a single caravan cable to be used (see CC15M or CL-15MA). 
An output adaptor will be required to provide the two separate connections for input into the monitor/display. CH-M2FX is for 4 Pin monitors and CH-4MRCA is for RCA monitors or in-dash head units
