Caravan cabling conversion kit.
If your van was supplied with basic 4 pin cables which hang on tails and are not fully suited for continued connect/disconnect use, you may want to upgrade this to a heavy duty plug and socket system with removable curly cable.
This is a simple plug & play conversion with the cabling and you go from a light duty connection which can be fiddly to connect correctly to a robust cabling system designed to be connected and disconnected repeated without concerns.
The CH-4-5PCK includes the car and caravan sockets with short tails to connect to your existing cables, male on the van, female on the car and our super, locally made stainless steel brackets for mounting.
The removable curly cable connects them when required and is stored away when not in use leaving the weatherproof covers closed to keep out rain and dirt.

Hybrid Series camera and monitor kit for small trucks and commercial vehicles with 7” monitor, heavy duty camera and 7.5m extension cable with AHD camera and monitor for high resolution images.

Different cables are available for larger vehicles with 10m, 15m and 20m cable lengths.

The HCMKIT2 is a camera and monitor kit to convert an existing (compatible) caravan camera system to high quality AHD video using the Hybrid Series cameras and monitor.

Any existing camera system which has industry standard 4 pin cabling already installed can be upgraded to higher quality AHD using this kit by just replacing the camera on the van and the monitor in the car.

Chipatronic use industry standard cabling and for caravans we recommend our caravan cable system with 7.5m cable for the car and 15m cable for the van both of which terminate in 4 pin connectors so power and video are all in the one cable. A heavy duty, flexible curly cable (bungee) is used to connect the car and caravan so when disconnected there are no plugs dangling to get full of dirt and water.

Basic cabling systems with 4 pin connection between car and van can still be used or we can also upgrade these to the heavy duty system with the CH-4-5PCK conversion kit.

Complete Caravan Camera Kit.
The HCMKIT3 includes a single, Hybrid caravan camera and monitor with full set of standard cables for car and caravan plus removable, flexible connection between car and van.

This provides a robust and long lasting cabling solution designed to be used repeatedly with weatherproof sockets on the car and van leaving nothing hanging to get dirt and water in so alleviates a lot of the common problems with traditional trailer plugs which remain attached on a cable tail.

The Hybrid camera provides high resolution video which is displayed on the included monitor which clips over the existing rear-view mirror and gives the driver very clear vision from behind the van.
Dash mount monitors are also available as options as well as replacement rear-view mirrors with in-built monitor.
As the Hybrid cameras have the best image quality in AHD mode, this can only be used with compatible monitors shown below although these cameras can be re-programmed to suit other monitors including in-dash screens but they will display in lower resolution, CVBS video only with these.

Standard camera supplied is the CH-HPC1WD and this can be changed to the CH-HPC1MB if required.
The kit can also be optioned up to include our unique, dual hybrid camera CH-HPC2DB which has one camera with wide angle for reversing and a second camera with a narrower angle for driving to give the driver high resolution AHD vision continually.
