The CH-HDVR4-4  series is an advanced hybrid DVR for heavy vehicles where recording of up to 8 cameras is required.

This is a hybrid device which includes support for both Digital HD cameras as well as Analogue cameras  with 4 channels for each type.

The Digital HD channels can only use those specific cameras and cables while the Analogue channels can work with both traditional CVBS cameras or higher resolution AHD cameras, offering a combination of high resolution recording with flexibility and the possibility of using some existing hardware while upgrading older DVR systems.

These recording systems are supplied with a 1TB hard drive (HDD) as standard or can be upgraded with SSD to provide greater durability in more arduous situations or capacity can be increased to 2TB for extended storage. A 1TB drive will store approximately 540 hours of high quality video from 4 cameras, with or without audio. These systems use standard Chipatronic cabling systems and any of our Real Image cameras including internal models with audio input (Digital HD, AHD and CVBS types are available).

Up to 3 external alarm inputs can be configured and linked to video channels to provide a separate record of events related to the alarm input or the alarm function can be setup to switch the video output to show specific cameras which can be configured in the same way as a reversing camera.
These models have a traditional CVBS video output for use with standard vehicle monitors and also HDMI output for higher quality.

Options can include: GPS for speed and location; external button for Start/Stop control or alarm input and upgrade from standard HDD to SSD (Solid State Drive) or increase capacity to 2TB.
Wireless communication using 3G or 4G networks can be added where remote access is required but please note that as this uses standard mobile networks, speed and connectivity are beyond our control.

The DVR is supplied in a lockable, metal enclosure for tamper-proof installation and installation can be carried out by suitably trained staff such as auto electricians or professional installers working in the auto electrical or car-audio industry.
